I am Leanne Jennings, married with two children. I own and manage The Groom Room, which is a small, friendly dog grooming salon in Shipley. I have been grooming dogs of all breeds since 1997. I hold my City & Guilds Dog Grooming and Level 2 Small Animal Care. The salon is fully insured.

Dogs and cats (and many other four legged friends) have been a part of my life since I was a small child and I always aspired to work with animals. After leaving college with my Small Animal Pet Care qualification, I chose to go into pet grooming. I gained my City and Guilds Dog Grooming qualification. With the expertise and professionalism I learned over a period of 5 years with Look North, I decided to venture out and open my own Pet Salon.

There's No Place like Home

My love of dogs has opened up many opportunities for me. I have been fortunate enough to write a column in the Dogs Today magazine and I have also bred and shown my own dogs to a very high standard. My two dogs are Indi (German Shepherd) who comes to work with me regularly and Cilla (Chihuahua) who has gained Championship Certificates.
